I visited Buddy Brew Coffee, a cute little coffee shop with great food and coffee. The space has a charming vibe, and the staff is friendly, providing good service. Despite its small exterior, there’s ample indoor seating, creating a very chill atmosphere.

The fast and friendly service impressed me, even during busy times. It’s been my go-to spot for years, mainly for their drip coffee and pleasant atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the recent price increase for a basic drip coffee to $4 (12 oz) was a downside for me. I believe it’s too expensive and hope they reconsider this change. However, everything else about the place is top-notch.

The calming vibes and efficient, friendly workers make it a pleasant place to visit. The food, particularly the hangover sandwich, and the cold brew with oat milk were perfect. The interior design, with its color contrast of white, black, and gold, added to the positive experience. It’s moderately conducive to studying, with available outlets indoors.

I’m a regular visitor to Buddy Brew at Hyde Park Village, enjoying lattes and biscuits on weekends. Unfortunately, a recent incident where the staff didn’t wash dishes and refused to provide lattes in to-go cups affected my loyalty. I decided to try The Salty instead and found even better lattes and bagels, prompting me to consider relocating my loyalty.

Overall, Buddy Brew Coffee offers a delightful experience with its charming space, delicious food and coffee, and friendly staff. My only concern is the price increase for a basic drip coffee, but if that’s not a deterrent for you, it’s worth a visit.
