I visited Candor Coffee and was immediately impressed by the amazing coffee they offered. The atmosphere was very inviting, with a peaceful and pretty decor that exuded European coffee shop vibes. The music perfectly matched the mood and the variety of seating options catered to different needs, making it a solid place to come and work.
The baristas were friendly and quick, adding to the wonderful ambiance of the coffee shop. I appreciated the small food selection, particularly the cute and unique drinks featured on their seasonal Instagram selection. Although it got super busy, the good amount of parking around made it convenient to visit.
The variety of pastries was pleasing, and the internet was good, which is always a plus when trying to get work done. However, it was a bit challenging to find seating due to the high traffic, and there were lots of cups around that weren’t cleaned up or put away, which slightly impacted the overall experience.
The bohemian white esthetic of the place really stood out to me, and the coffee was perfectly made to my liking. The spinach bagel, chocolate croissant, and cinnamon roll were particularly delightful, although I found the matcha latte too bitter for my taste. On the other hand, the cappuccino was strong, and the mocha had the perfect level of sweetness.
Candor Coffee is truly one of my favorite spots in Renton. Despite a few minor issues, the overall vibe more than made up for it, earning a well-deserved rating of 4.6 out of 5. I will definitely be coming back for more of their amazing coffee and charming ambiance.
