Château Coffee Co. Reviews and Opinions

I visited Château Coffee Co., a coffee shop with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5. The experience was fun and worth the $12 as my friends and I enjoyed going through the coffee flights together. The nicely decorated store was packed on a Saturday morning, but the friendly barista offered us additional seating “next door.” The extra space and ability to sit together were appreciated, although the area is still under construction and not as warm and inviting as the main location.

The overflow seating area next door came in handy, as the main space would have felt quite limited without it. However, there’s a possibility that this area might be temporary, and it could go away when new tenants move in – something to keep in mind for future visits.

Despite the potential temporary nature of the overflow seating, the inside of the coffee shop was described as very cozy, especially with a nice Christmas atmosphere. The baristas were friendly and accommodating, and the coffee had no bitter aftertaste. I would definitely return for a second cup, especially given the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I was thoroughly impressed by the coffee shop’s offerings, with amazing coffee, superb treats, and phenomenal service. This hidden gem of mid-Michigan surpassed my expectations. The iced latte and a croissant with mocha sauce were particularly delightful, and I would highly recommend them.

I also tried the iced coffee flight with friends, which was a pleasant experience. While the drinks tasted somewhat similar, the blueberry flavor stood out as a favorite. The amount of strong coffee in the flight was noteworthy, and the overall experience was considered worth the $13. Additionally, the staff’s gesture of providing a to-go cup when I couldn’t finish in person was a nice touch.

Château Coffee Co. provides a delightful and enjoyable coffee experience, with a cozy setting, friendly staff, and a range of delectable treats. This hidden gem truly stands out in mid-Michigan, making it a worthy alternative to the typical chain coffee shops.
