I visited Fincas Coffee in Miami, and overall, the sentiment is overwhelmingly positive. I absolutely loved the coffee and matcha at this place. The ambiance of the plaza is unique and really enhances the coffee-drinking experience. The owner, Emilio, and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee process. Their expertise and warm demeanor added to the enjoyment of my visit. It’s clear that they take pride in their craft, which made it a memorable experience for me. Definitely the best coffee spot in Miami!

The service was super friendly and quick, which is always a plus. The cafe has a Bali vibe, and although there are limited seating options inside, there is additional communal seating outside the cafe. However, there’s a caution about a large tree that can potentially create a messy situation with its falling fruit. This information is valuable for potential visitors to be aware of.

While the food selection is somewhat limited, the coffee was exceptional, and the baristas were incredibly nice. The location is also great for a visit. However, it’s worth noting that during my visit, they were out of croissants even though the place had been open for 45 minutes. This is an area for improvement.

My experience at Fincas Coffee has always been positive. The owner and baristas go out of their way to make customers feel like family, which adds a personal touch to the coffee shop experience. The quality of the coffee and pastries is fantastic, and the overall vibes are great. For me, it’s easily one of the best coffee roasters and shops in South Florida.

On the downside, there was an unpleasant experience with the coffee preparation. The chemex with natural beans didn’t meet expectations. The barista seemed distracted and the resulting coffee tasted old and thin, which was disappointing given the price and the equipment on display. I observed some shortcomings in the barista’s technique, and this affected my overall recommendation of the coffee.
