Kahwa Coffee Reviews and Opinions
My first visit to Kahwa Coffee in St. Pete left me with a mixed impression. The bustling urban neighborhood location felt relaxed and peaceful, providing a great atmosphere for a morning date or quiet work. The cappuccino was quite good, and the triple protein breakfast croissant was delicious – although the lack of flakiness didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
The coffee at Kahwa is exceptional, especially if you enjoy stronger medium roast beans. However, the lack of flakiness in the croissants was a disappointment. The shop’s industrial chic decor, comfy seating, and unobtrusive music make it a great spot to meet and talk, but the limited electrical outlets, crowds in the early afternoons, and constant traffic noise on the sidewalk detracted from the experience.
The staff at Kahwa Coffee are quick and attentive, and they offer a fair selection of parfait, quiche, and snacks at reasonable prices. The rotating local art on the walls adds a nice touch to the ambiance. While the location may not be my favorite within the chain due to its drawbacks, it still delivers a lot of positives with its great coffee, inviting atmosphere, and convenient downtown parking.
In summary, my experience at Kahwa Coffee in St. Pete was a blend of positives and negatives. The coffee and ambiance were inviting, but the drawbacks such as crowded afternoons and limited electrical outlets impacted the overall experience. Despite these shortcomings, the consistently good flavors and lovely ambiance make it a worthwhile visit for coffee enthusiasts in the Tampa/St. Pete area.
