I visited Mellana Cafe, a cozy little spot with a 4.8 average rating. The Yemeni oat latte is a standout – perfectly spiced and not too sweet. The green juice and avocado toast were also hits. The service was friendly, which added to the overall positive experience.

The space itself is quite small, with just a few tables inside and out front. However, the team behind the counter, possibly a brother and sister duo, is incredibly sweet. The pricing is also reasonable; I received both an avocado toast and an açaí bowl for the price of an avocado toast elsewhere. The toast was loaded with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and chili flakes, creating a burst of flavors. The açaí bowl was a delightful mix of fresh bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and crunchy granola atop passion fruit, my absolute favorite flavor.

The juice offerings are fresh and delicious. The strong greens juice was a particular favorite, with a good balance of not being too sweet yet not too bitter. The smoothies also stood out, with visible fresh and crisp fruits and vegetables. The espresso has an amazing taste, and the Sumatran cold brew packs a strong and delicious punch, providing great value for the price.

I found the Yemeni Latte to be the best in town, making Mellana Cafe my new favorite coffee spot. Despite its small size, the vibe of the place is quite pleasant, and the staff is incredibly nice. Overall, my experience at Mellana Cafe was overwhelmingly positive, and I look forward to returning for more of their excellent coffee and delightful treats.
