I visited Old School Coffee, and I must say I had a really great experience. The atmosphere was fantastic and the coffee options were really tasty. I went in near closing and asked for the sweetest drink on their menu, and the barista recommended “the student,” which I found really tasty. The workers were really kind and helpful, and they whipped up my order really quick, even though I took my coffee to go, so it looked a bit separated. The building housing the coffee shop is a repurposed old school along with several other businesses, which I thought was a really cool concept. It’s one of my favorite coffee shops in Lexington and definitely worth a stop by if you’ve never been there before. The place was well-decorated, cozy, and organized, creating a nice atmosphere. Even though it was a little busy when I went during the weekend, the wait for the high-quality coffee was not long. It’s also a nice spot for students to do their work, with a couple of people creating a pleasant atmosphere.
