The coffee at Philz Coffee is absolutely delicious. The pour-overs are decent and come at a reasonable rate. The airy and nice aesthetics add to the overall experience. I recommend ordering a stronger coffee with chocolate notes and cream for added richness. The staff were kind enough to replace my spilled coffee, reflecting great customer service.

The food, however, left something to be desired. The vegan breakfast sandwich and turkey sausage English muffin had hard bread, making them difficult to eat. It seemed as if the bread was overheated, impacting the overall enjoyment of the sandwiches. Additionally, the order accuracy for customizing coffee needs improvement. My specific requests for sugar and ice were not met, leading to a disappointing experience.

While the outdoor seating area is attractive, there is a caution about laptop areas and raised seating that could lead to accidents. Although, this can be mitigated by downloading the app for preordering if you’re in a rush. It’s important to note that I won’t be returning due to my negative experiences.

Overall, Philz Coffee offers delicious beverages with pleasant indoor and outdoor seating options, complete with restroom facilities. If I’m in the area, I can’t help but stop by for their fantastic coffee. However, improvements in food quality and order accuracy would certainly enhance the overall experience for visitors.
