I visited the Starbucks located off of Waterloo 88 and 99. My experience was quite disappointing. The drive-thru service was slow, and the staff seemed overwhelmed by the volume of customers. On one occasion, I witnessed a lack of attention from the employee at the drive-thru window, who was engaged in a personal conversation with the car in front of me, causing a significant delay for other customers. This behavior left an impression of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction. Not receiving the expected level of service led me to seek my coffee elsewhere, ultimately impacting the shop’s potential sales.
Additionally, my orders were consistently incorrect, with mistakes occurring at least twice a week. This lack of accuracy became frustrating, especially when my specific preferences for cream and sugar in my coffee were not fulfilled. It affected the taste and overall enjoyment of my drink, leaving me dissatisfied with the quality of service provided.
Sadly, the Starbucks location also failed to meet my expectations for in-store pickup. On multiple occasions, I encountered the inconvenience of finding the doors locked and the shop closed, despite selecting the in-store pickup option. This inconsistency caused further inconvenience and annoyance, as I had to wait in line while others received their orders.
