The Starbucks location I visited seemed to be bustling with activity. Despite the rush, they efficiently rectified any errors in my mobile order, which I appreciate. The ambiance was laid-back, with a constant stream of locals from the city. I was pleased to find that my potato and egg bites were still warm when I retrieved them from the counter, just the way I like them.
On the downside, I found it disappointing that this Starbucks did not offer power sources for laptops. As someone who frequently needs to work remotely, this lack of a common amenity impacted my experience. This deficiency in amenities has led me to spend more time at other cafes, such as Urban and 7 Leaves cafe. It’s disheartening to witness Starbucks moving away from providing basic conveniences, especially as a long-time Gold member since before 2005.
I was let down by the size of my drink during my visit to the Starbucks located inside Target at town square. In every other Starbucks, my drink is filled to the top when I ask for ice on the side. However, on this occasion, I was given a smaller size than what I had paid for. Additionally, being denied a receipt due to a prior transaction felt like poor customer service, especially considering Starbucks’ status as a franchise. This experience left me feeling extremely disappointed.
Despite the welcoming staff and clean interior, the prevalence of homelessness in the area, lack of a drive-through, and limited parking made my overall experience less than ideal.
On a more positive note, the Starbucks location I visited boasted ample seating with available power outlets, making it one of the few remaining Starbucks where I could comfortably work with my laptop.

However, the absence of power sources for laptops, issues with drink size and receipt, and external factors like limited parking and homelessness detracted from the overall experience.
