I visited The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and it was a pleasure for my Starbucks getaway. The location is excellent in a very good, clean part of town with many surrounding perks and businesses. The coffee shop is always clean, the service is great, and the coffee is excellent.
I enjoyed a 32oz Midnight Mocha Cold Brew Latte, which I personally believe has nothing at Starbucks to match it. The iced coffee options are fantastic, with a 32oz cup being a huge plus. However, the more fancy cold brews come at a little extra price.
My husband had a lemon chamomile tea along with a blueberry scone, and he loved it. The girl at the register, Lexi, was suuuuper nice and sweet, which added to the positive experience. However, I wish there were more coffee options, as I’m not interested in tea or cold brews.
The decoration and music create a welcoming ambiance, but the chairs are not very comfortable. The breakfast sandwiches, although not initially appealing, turned out to be satisfactory once I asked for other options.
On a separate note, I had a less than satisfactory experience with the peppermint Mocha drink. It was made in less than 30 seconds and had no peppermint flavor, essentially tasting like a plain black and white coffee. This was disappointing, especially considering the higher price.
Overall, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf offers delicious coffee, lots of seating both indoors and outdoors, and friendly staff. I’d highly recommend it for both coffee and tea lovers. The relaxed atmosphere and variety of beverages make it a nice place to hang out with friends.
Despite some minor shortcomings such as limited coffee options and a disappointing drink experience, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf provides a pleasant and enjoyable coffee shop experience with excellent service and flavorful beverages.
