I visited The Guardian Coffee and was immediately taken by its beautiful location and nice atmosphere. The Guardian Building itself is stunning, with a beautiful interior that makes it worth a visit even if just to admire the architecture. However, I was disappointed to find that the opening time of 7 am wasn’t always reliable, as there was a delay in opening when I arrived, causing me to go elsewhere after waiting until 7:30.

Despite this initial setback, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee. The locally roasted Great Lakes coffee beans used at The Guardian Coffee resulted in a phenomenal cup of coffee, far exceeding my expectations for a coffee stand. The barista working was also very kind, adding to the positive experience.

The staff at The Guardian Coffee were friendly and the service was great. The lattes and pastries served were delicious, and I particularly enjoyed a fresh and yummy bagel. The coffee shop had a welcoming atmosphere and the staff provided great customer service.

The location within the Guardian Building contributed to the charm of the place, with the hall where the shop is located being unbelievably gorgeous. It was interesting to see the historic setting of the building, which was built in Detroit in 1929.
