The Joy Thru – Kuppa Joy Coffee Reviews and Opinions

I visited The Joy Thru – Kuppa Joy Coffee in Fresno during my 12-day trip and it quickly became my go-to cafe for cappuccino. The service was excellent, and the coffee was very good, leaving a positive impression on both me and my friend from LA, who raved about their excellent latte. However, I did miss out on their coffee on Sundays and Holidays, which was a bit disappointing, but understandable.

During my visit, I also tried another cafe in Clovis before leaving Fresno, and it was also excellent, with great business, people, and service. I particularly appreciated the drive-thru option at Kuppa Joy, making it very convenient for me. I wish there were more drive-thrus in Fresno and Clovis, but this is the only one here. The coffee and service were top-notch, but I felt that their food and pastries could be better. I would recommend sticking to their coffee or doughnuts, although I was disappointed to hear they might not have doughnuts anymore.

One downside was the breakfast burrito I ordered, as the potatoes were hard, and part of the egg was overcooked, making me feel like I wasted my money, especially given the high price of $8. On the positive side, the drinks were always great, and I particularly love their Hallelujah drink, making it my favorite go-to.

I also tried their tea, which was great for me, even though I wished they offered larger cup sizes. The coffee, on the other hand, was creamy and had a fantastic flavor, surpassing Starbucks in taste. Overall, I find Kuppa Joy Coffee to be a great local company with better-tasting coffee than the competition, making it my preferred choice over Starbucks.

My experience at Kuppa Joy Coffee was generally positive, with great coffee and service, although the food and pastries were a bit lacking. Despite the issues with the breakfast burrito, the consistently excellent drinks and convenient drive-thru option make it a standout choice for coffee in Fresno.
