As a trans woman, I was instantly drawn to Triumph Coffee because of its clear indication of being a safe space and queer owned and operated. This sense of safety and inclusivity is extremely important to me, and it made my experience at Triumph very positive. The Snickers malt mocha was delicious and definitely worth trying. I also appreciate the recent plans for a new look, and I am excited to see the new layout and paint scheme.

However, I can understand the disappointment expressed by a former regular customer who felt that the cozy and welcoming environment at Triumph had been lost. The lack of sufficient seating and the drastic changes might have contributed to the negative experience. It’s unfortunate that the changes led to a feeling of displacement and discomfort, which ultimately resulted in them deciding never to return.

On the other hand, I found the staff to be friendly, the coffee to be great, and the vegan treats to be a nice touch.
