I have to say, I was totally surprised by how much I loved Turbo Coffee! Visiting my sister, we wanted to try a new coffee shop and it turned out to be one of the best experiences. The gluten-free baked goods were absolutely fantastic, especially the FRUITY PEBBLE POUND CAKE. The fact that it was only $1.50 made it even better! It was definitely worth it, and I highly recommend trying it out. The other baked goods and coffee were also delicious, but that pound cake stole the show.
The owner’s kind and professional reply added to the positive experience I had at Turbo Coffee. Despite the fantastic experience, I have to note the presence of annoying fungus gnats/fruit flies at the shop. This issue could easily be addressed with cinnamon on the soil of the plants to help control the pests.
On the other hand, there was a disappointing experience when the shop was closed despite Google indicating it was open. This led to a wasted 20-minute drive, which could have been avoided with better communication on the shop’s part. Additionally, while I usually rave about the place, a smoothie disappointment occurred when it turned out too liquidy and lacked flavor. The staff member’s response to my request for more ice was not pleasant, which was disappointing considering my previous positive experiences.
Turbo Coffee has a great atmosphere, a variety of food and drink options, and fast service. The staff has been nice in general, and the coffee was great. The chill atmosphere due to the decor and music was impressive, but the presence of gnats/bugs did dampen the overall experience.
