I visited Voltaire Coffee Roasters in downtown San Jose near the convention center. The atmosphere had a real artsy and moody feel to it, with quite a few people on laptops getting work done. The friendly staff made my visit enjoyable and welcoming. The bagel sandwich and coffee were good, offering a delightful experience.

The variety of choices for freshly roasted pour over or cold brew was impressive, and the flavors were amazing. Sitting by the window and sipping on their coffee was delightful. The service was excellent, with a great selection of pastries. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant coffee experience in downtown San Jose.

The cortado with oat milk was perfectly prepared and tasty. The decaf Americano also tasted great without needing any creamer or sweetener. The place was busy, but the staff remained calm, quick, and friendly. The ham and cheese croissant was delicious, although some items that looked like they belonged in storage detracted from the overall welcoming environment.

I ordered a cappuccino, and it came out perfectly, achieving a richness that pleasantly surprised me. Although the lox bagel could have used more lox, it was a lovely place to read or catch up with a friend.
