I visited Water Avenue Coffee, a high-end coffee shop located in a hip section of central industrial eastside. The atmosphere was lovely, and I found the staff to be welcoming and friendly. The coffee options were excellent, with delicious lattes available, including alternative milk choices. The plant-based milk options were a great plus for me.

I indulged in a veggie burrito, an apple butter scone, and a cookie, all of which were delightful. The pastry complemented the latte perfectly, making for a satisfying experience. I also appreciated the recommendations from the staff for other coffee roasters to try in the Portland area.

The spacious and beautiful setting provided a great space to work or simply relax while enjoying a drink and a meal. However, I felt that the portion of the breakfast burrito was a bit small, although the flavorful green sauce served with it was a nice touch and made for a tasty leftover for my dinner later on.
