I visited Whittier Cafe yesterday with a coworker for the first time and we both loved it! The cafe is nicely decorated with plenty of seating, inside and out. There are lots of drink options including coffee, tea, and energy drinks, as well as a cute bakery showcase. The prices are cheap and the mocha I ordered was delicious. I can’t wait to come back, especially when it’s warmer to enjoy the outdoor seating.

The neighborhood cafe has a genuine kindness that I haven’t experienced in a long time. The hand-crafted coffee drinks are made with care and attention to detail. The barista even refoamed the almond milk multiple times until they were satisfied, without me even asking. The breakfast burritos have been raved about and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere reflects the Ethiopian heritage of the owners. I highly recommend this cafe for its exceptional service and quality drinks.

I came specifically to experience the Sunday coffee ceremony and I’m so glad I did. The ceremony was informative and interactive, and the coffee and food were amazing.
