I had a wonderful experience at Black Sugar Caffé. The ambience was perfect, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The highlight for me was their impressive coffee selection. I opted for the cold nitro brew, and it was exactly the strong kick I was seeking – a coffee lover’s dream.
My wife ordered the caramel milk latte, and she thoroughly enjoyed her choice as well. What set this coffee shop apart was its pet-friendly policy. They not only allowed pets inside but even offered them a special treat, a puppacino. Our pup absolutely loved it!

In regards to complaints about the customer service and wait times, I found out the owner was training a new hire, so hopefully, those issues will be resolved at the Black Sugar Café Round Rock location.

Well let me start by saying that I used to love this place. Recently the service and quality of food have gone off the deep end. That leads me to today. I went to grab a simple caramel macchiato and a Cinnamon roll and was greeted by someone who looks like an addict. I believe her name was Kaitlin. Then the real issue I had started. Not only was she rude and not warming but she couldn’t even get such a simple drink correct and my roll was cold and had mold on the bottom. This is the second time I have dealt with her and had the same treatment. I truly believe the owner needs to step up and hire good people that know customer service. Needless to say, I will not be coming back and will advise anyone I care about to stay away from Black Sugar Café Round Rock.
Love to go to Black Sugar Cafe in Cedar Park on Cypress Blvd and so glad to see they open one closer to my house! I kept trying new things there at the other store. The staff are always friendly and willing to help you find the drink you may like. This store seems to be the same. This is gonna be great!!
The decoration is better than the one I always go to. It’s a little bigger but pretty much the same style. I like it!
