Inkwell Coffee Shop Reviews and Opinions
I visited Inkwell Coffee Shop and was immediately drawn to the relaxing ambiance. The comfy corner chair by the plants and large windows created a calm atmosphere. The nice, upbeat but non interruptive music selection added to the vibe. The cold brew had a bold flavor and provided a definite caffeine kick, which I enjoyed. The Costa Rican drip coffee had an earthy, fruity profile that I found great as well.
However, my experience took a turn when I was rudely told that outside food is not allowed, despite no signs indicating this. Additionally, the coffee tasted burnt after we left. Based on this experience, I would not recommend it as a good place to hang out or buy coffee.
Despite that, the cozy cafe and super comfortable couch made a positive impression. The cortado was perfect and silky smooth, with beautiful latte art. Inkwell Coffee Shop has been my go-to spot for around 3 years, and it never disappoints. The friendly staff, good treats, and a nice balance of coffee options make it a solid choice. It’s a nice place to work, never too busy nor empty, and the quirky decor adds to the charm.
Inkwell Coffee Shop presents itself as your typical funky oddball coffee joint and exceeds expectations. It’s not just a hit but surpasses it, making it a standout in Lawrenceville. The windows, plants, aggressive use of color in paintings, and hand-written menu create a unique setting.
To sum up, my visit to Inkwell Coffee Shop had its highs and lows. While the ambiance and coffee were impressive, the incident with outside food and the burnt coffee tainted the experience. Overall, the cozy vibe, friendly staff, and unique atmosphere make it a solid choice for a coffee spot.
