Scooter’s Coffee Reviews and Opinions

I visited Scooter’s Coffee, a convenient spot in downtown Wichita. It’s just north of 2nd Street on Washington. When short on time and craving a good drink, I prefer Kiosk coffee spots, and Scooter’s is the most dependable in the city for that. My last drink, an Iced Pumpkin Caramelicious, was an awesome caffeinated treat for fall. However, my online order wasn’t started until I arrived, and I had to remind the staff of it, so unfortunately ordering ahead with the app doesn’t work here.

Despite this, I still find Scooter’s worth recommending for anyone in the Old Town area. On my first visit with a friend for morning coffee cravings, it was a good experience. The food and service are both good.

I love this location and have always been a daily Scooter’s customer. However, the baristas were quite rude during one visit. While I was the only person in line, they were standing inside, talking with the window shut, even though my drink was already made and sitting by the window. This experience was disappointing, especially since I was in a hurry.

Another negative experience occurred when I walked to the Scooter’s half-way down the block from where I was staying. They refused to serve me because I wasn’t in a vehicle, which seemed unreasonable and frustrating.

Despite some negative experiences, the majority of my visits have been positive. Overall, Scooter’s Coffee is rated 4.4 out of 5, and I would recommend it for its convenient location and good drinks.
