The Starbucks coffee shop near my place has left me feeling disappointed on multiple occasions. When I visited, the service was extremely lacking. The employees seemed unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. They appeared more interested in gossiping than attending to customers. The lack of attention to detail was evident when they failed to fill my drink cup all the way and served a drink that was almost undrinkable due to being too syrupy and missing the fruit inclusions it was supposed to have. This kind of service is truly unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment.
There were also issues with the store’s opening hours. On numerous occasions, I found that despite the listed opening hours, the store was not open until 11am. This inconsistency is frustrating for customers who rely on the store being open during the stated times. It is difficult to understand why they aren’t able to maintain their operating hours as specified.
Furthermore, the cleanliness and maintenance of the store are concerning. I was shocked and disappointed to find flies flying out of the fridge when I requested a panini. This lack of hygiene gives a very negative impression and is completely unacceptable.
Despite the negative experiences, I need to point out that the beverages are decent, but it’s really unfortunate that the overall service experience overshadows this.
