I visited Valentine Coffee Co. with high hopes but left feeling extremely disappointed. Despite my preference for supporting local coffee shops, this experience was regretful. When I asked for a sweeter drink, the staff appeared confused and even tried to charge for vanilla syrup. Their response was unhelpful and unkind, making me feel uncomfortable for simply requesting a better order. The burnt coffee and overpriced small cup size added insult to injury, and the banana bread was horrendous, tasting expired. In hindsight, a refund should have been demanded. The overall experience at Valentine Coffee Co. was extremely disappointing and the worst I’ve ever had.

On the other hand, my visit to Stone Creek was a much better experience with kind, willing, and helpful staff. Valentine Coffee Co. surely deserves zero stars if it were up to me.
