I recently visited Vertex Coffee Roasters in Ann Arbor, and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The design and set up of the coffee shop were really cool, but what stole the show for me was the coffee itself. The flights were delicious and reasonably priced, making them a highly recommended choice. The staff’s service was friendly and chill, adding to the positive vibes of the place.
I loved that the coffee shop has perfected the ratios of coffee to syrups, especially for their smaller portions. It’s rare to find a place that gets it right, but Vertex Coffee Roasters nailed it. Their espresso shot, served with sparkling water, was equally impressive and full of flavor.
The con miel latte and lemon bar were amazing, and the berry bar was soft and delicious. I also appreciated the gluten-free options available for snacks. However, the side door being closed seemed to be a bit of an inconvenience, although it wasn’t a major issue for me.
One of the highlights for me was the availability of coffee flights, which allowed me to try different flavors. While the raspberry mocha tasted slightly artificial, it didn’t overshadow the overall great experience. The seating areas both inside and outside were comfortable and well-designed, providing a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying the fantastic coffee.
Despite it being out of the way for me, I’m looking forward to returning to Vertex Coffee Roasters.
