I visited 8th & Roast in Nashville and found it to be the perfect stop for a quick pick-me-up during my road trip. The shop was open late on a Sunday, which was convenient, and I was happy to find free parking nearby. The bright and comfortable interior was ideal for catching up with friends or getting work done. However, I had difficulty finding the restroom, which was a drawback.

When I ordered a seasonal specialty drink, “We Were in Paris,” the barista was honest about not having tried the drinks. Although the iced latte was nicely balanced and pleasantly sweet, the chocolate chip muffin I chose was a bit dry. Despite this, I enjoyed my brief time there and would consider returning in the future.

However, another visitor was disappointed with their specialty latte, wishing they had been advised that it may have been better hot than iced. They felt that the flavor lacked depth and didn’t match their expectations. On the positive side, they appreciated the great staff and the cozy atmosphere of the shop.

Someone else found the shop cozy and comfortable for working, but was hesitant to try the premade food. They described the dark roast coffee as strong but with burned tones.
