Aroma Barista Bar Reviews and Opinions

The Aroma Barista Bar is a hidden gem in the Ahern Hotel & Events Center. I was very glad to have stumbled upon it, and it turned out to be a solid coffee shop with an average rating of 4.6 out of 5.

The coffee shop is located on the 2nd floor, which can be a bit hard to find, but once found, the seating area is nice and quiet. I particularly enjoyed the quiet ambiance when I visited an hour before closing time.

The baristas at Aroma Barista Bar are top-notch, and I want to give a special shout out to Casey for making an amazing latte – the coffees here are truly amazing.

During my multiple visits, I got to befriend barista Mayte, who always makes perfect coffee. The prices are great, especially during happy hour from 3-5 PM. I also had the opportunity to explore their food items.

I tried the Chicken BLT Wrap, Short Rib Quiche, and the 16 oz Green Mountain Smoothie. While the wrap was my least favorite food item due to its lack of flavor, the quiche was phenomenal and the smoothie was light and easy to drink.

I was particularly drawn to the happy hour pastry and coffee combo for only $7, which was a deal I couldn’t resist. The espresso and cold brew drinks were strong, and I was impressed that the cold brew wasn’t watered down – the coffee quality here is top-notch.

In terms of pastries, the Carrot Muffin was my absolute favorite, followed by the Strawberry Croissant. While the Bear Claw was average, the Pistachio Twist didn’t quite meet expectations, lacking both taste and freshness.
