Blue Bottle Coffee Reviews and Opinions

I visited Blue Bottle Coffee in Pasadena, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The location itself is lovely, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hot “Nola” with almond milk that I ordered was simply delicious, with solid flavor and a perfect temperature. Additionally, the cold brew half can I tried was refreshing and energizing. I also indulged in their delicious breakfast sandwich.

The smaller size of this Blue Bottle location did not diminish the enjoyment of the experience. The café had a factory-style decoration with special fancy designs, and they also offered classic Blue Bottle merchandise. The staff recommended the limited summer edition Nola Shakerato, which was fantastic.

However, I must acknowledge the negative experience I had with the pricing. Despite advertising a $3 cup of coffee online, the actual cheapest cup was $5 for 8oz. To make matters worse, they served it in a 12-oz cup but only filled it to 8oz. This was disappointing, especially considering that the coffee itself was not exceptional.

On the brighter side, the baristas and staff at this Blue Bottle location were great and made my visit enjoyable. I particularly loved the Nola Shakerato, although my go-to is the cappuccino. Parking was available, albeit not free, and street parking was a bit of a challenge.

My experience at Blue Bottle Coffee in Pasadena was mostly positive. The delicious drinks, friendly staff, and charming location left a good impression on me, despite the pricing hiccup. I would certainly consider returning to explore more of their menu items.
