I visited Cozzi Cafe with high hopes given its status as a women-owned coffee shop. However, I must admit that I left feeling disappointed. The discrepancies between the online portrayal and the actual interior were striking, as were the inflated prices that did not match the quality of the offerings. I tried the toffee crunch latte, which unfortunately had a gritty texture due to the excess cinnamon topping, and the breakfast sandwich that seemed underwhelming and overpriced. Furthermore, the avocado toast failed to meet expectations, lacking the freshness and taste one would expect. It’s safe to say that I won’t be returning. The service, however, was a redeeming factor.
The inconsistency in quality and service during my visits left much to be desired. Despite giving them a second chance, the unimpressive service persisted, culminating in a burnt sandwich and an uncomfortable encounter when requesting a refund. These experiences were disappointing, especially as I had hoped for more from Cozzi Cafe considering it replaced my favorite spot.
