I visited Jones Coffee Roasters and found it to be a great place to just chill, relax and have a cortado. The addition of a small fine art gallery provided an interesting touch for those interested in art. The availability of wine on certain nights added to the appeal of the place.

The open space with an industrial vibe and lots of seating indoors and out made it a comfortable environment to get some work done. The proximity to other businesses, including a takeout pizza place, was convenient. The lack of wifi, which is usually a downside, turned out to be really nice for focused work, and I appreciated the presence of outlets for my computer.

The decently sized parking lot was a plus, although it was often crowded due to the cafe’s popularity. It’s worth noting that part of the lot is taken for outdoor seating. The dog-friendly atmosphere and abundance of greenery created a pleasant ambiance. The staff members were friendly and the prices were reasonable.

As for the menu, I tried the savory croissant and the lavender oat latte. The croissant, though tasty, was a bit oily, while the latte was slightly too sweet for my liking but still good. Despite this, I would definitely come back and try other things on the menu.

I must say, the coffee was exceptional. The JC espresso served as our main coffee at home, and the consistent, deep flavor profiles with subtle variations throughout the year left a lasting impression. The quick shipping in the LA area was also a convenience. The unbelievable espresso and great service truly made this a lovely and one-of-a-kind coffee shop.

In summary, I found Jones Coffee Roasters to be a very cool industrial coffee spot, just south of Old Town Pasadena. The cozy seating and artwork inside added to the charm. I enjoyed my 12oz Americano, and the available parking spaces, along with ample street parking, made it a convenient stop. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to further explore the offerings and bask in the unique ambiance.
