La Colombe Coffee Roasters is hands down the best nitro cold brew I have ever had. The nitro latte brew on tap is a personal favorite, with dense foam and outstanding flavor—it’s truly BUSSIN! The ham and cheese croissants are great, and they offer a wide selection of baked goods, brewed coffee, express drinks, cold brew, cappuccinos, flash cooled cold brew, and other beverages. What’s more, they provide sparkling and still water on tap, along with free oat, regular milk, and friendly service for your brewed coffee. The unlocked bathrooms are a bonus.

Having frequented La Colombe in Philadelphia, I was thrilled to find their coffee shops in Boston. The Rittenhouse location never disappointed, and this one lived up to my high expectations. The coffee was, as always, wonderful, and the staff was attentive, kind, and a joy to interact with. Furthermore, this location was refreshingly less crowded, providing prompt service.

I appreciate that La Colombe isn’t just another fast food dispensary for coffee. It offers an enjoyable experience of calmly savoring coffee in a cozy atmosphere. Getting my cortado served in a shot glass rather than a paper cup added to the unique experience. This place stands out in today’s coffee culture.

The rich blend cold brew is a highlight, and even the darker hot blends are smooth and rich. Despite the slightly higher prices, like $3 for a small hot coffee, it’s definitely worth the guilty pleasure for any coffee fan. The cafe in the Leather District across from South Station provides a decent amount of seating, making it a suitable place to work.

While the prices might be higher, the overall experience at La Colombe is worth it. Whether you’re seeking a rare coffee experience or a cozy spot to work, this coffee shop has a lot to offer. If you’re in search of a unique and enjoyable coffee experience, La Colombe is a must-visit!
