I recently visited Chromatic Coffee Co. with my older brother to grab some coffee and coffee beans for our espresso machine. The cozy vibe of the place, accentuated by Christmas decorations and central heating, helped to make me feel warm on a cold day. The dark chocolate coconut mocha I ordered had very little coconut flavor but was mostly dark chocolate. However, it was still a good and refreshing drink.

Upon enthusiastic recommendations from local friends, I tried their cappuccino, which was rich, frothy, and on the stronger side, perfect for my taste as I don’t add sugar to my coffee. The industrial-chic decor and warehouse-inspired ambiance gave off a creative and innovative vibe, making it a unique and ideal spot for casual meet-ups with friends.

While I appreciated the cool atmosphere and the fabulous Dulce de leche coffee, the limited number of pastries, unheated pastries, and loud music made it challenging to give this place a solid 5-star rating. The thumping music felt overwhelming, especially for someone who enjoys the tranquility of a calm morning coffee.

I also experienced exceptional service, with the staff using my name and showing gratitude, creating a memorable and positive interaction. However, the experience was not without its downsides. The strawberry scone I ordered was disappointing, described as a dense heavy lump of flour with an unpleasant aftertaste. Additionally, the locked bathrooms with a sign “staff only” gave the impression that this is not a place to linger and enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee.
