I visited The Artist Vibez Cafe Inc. for the first time during Taco Tuesday Reggae Night, and the vibe was chill and welcoming. The dimmed lighting and choice of music created a pleasant atmosphere. The night featured free comedy by upcoming artists, which added to the enjoyable experience.

The server, who we found out was also the owner, made our outing pleasant. The establishment is compact, but I enjoyed the festivities and the overall experience. The amazing artwork and good music enhanced the decor and vibe, making it an ideal place to spend time and money.

I arrived later than planned and missed the comedy show, but the owner, Victory, was completely welcoming. He even turned the music back on for us, despite it being 30 minutes before closing time. I was disappointed at first because the tea and waffles weren’t on the kiosk menu, but Victory promptly brought us the menus and took our order.

We ordered strawberry kiwi tea, hibiscus tea, and a blueberry drip vegan waffle. The waffle, though meant to be one, was served as two, and it was perfectly crisp and soft at the same time. The teas, served in actual porcelain cups, were cute and perfect, enhancing our tea-brunch experience. We vibed to Caribbean music while enjoying our meal, surrounded by art from local artists.

I had a very personable experience at the cafe, with the owner being accommodating and hospitable. The nicely lit lounge area and the veggie burger, which was to die for, left a lasting impression. I regret not ordering two! The blueberry lemonade with real blueberries was a delightful touch.

However, there seem to be inconsistencies with the cafe’s hours of operation, as I encountered a situation where the door was locked during supposed opening hours. It would be beneficial for the business to update its hours to avoid customer inconvenience.

On another occasion, I found the cafe closed with no sign of anyone inside, despite indicating that it should have been open. Clarifying if there are multiple locations with different hours would help prevent confusion and dissatisfaction among customers.
