I recently visited Topeca Coffee, located in the impressive Philcade building. The coffee shop has a fascinating history, with its roots stemming from El Salvador and generations of coffee expertise. The dedication to quality is evident in the meticulously crafted coffee, which easily earns five stars from me.

The baristas’ attention to detail was evident when I ordered a macchiato, and they asked if I liked espresso, reflecting a commitment to traditional preparation methods. My 12 oz. toasted caramel latte was recommended and turned out to be one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had, truly dreamy and memorable. The suggestion to try the drink was spot on and made my visit exceptionally enjoyable.

Aside from the exceptional coffee, the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. However, there was a small strange smell in the shop, which may have been specific to the location in Tulsa.

The variety of offerings, including tea, wine, and their own brand of beans, adds an interesting dimension to the coffee shop experience. Despite its small size, Topeca Coffee offers a wide range of options and services, making it an inviting place to enjoy a cup of java.

The pricing was reasonable, with $12-$13 for two drinks before tip. The quick service and delicious coffee made the visit even more satisfying. The building itself is worth exploring, adding to the allure of the coffee shop.
