Valentia Coffee is a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why. The fresh and local menu, quality drinks, and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit for coffee lovers. The personalized drawings on my coffee cup always brighten my day, showing the care and attention to detail that the staff puts into their work. The mural inside the shop provides a great backdrop for photos, adding to the overall positive experience.

During my visit, I enjoyed the Miel, a cinnamon and honey drink with a strong coffee taste. Although the honey flavor was lost in my drink, the friendly staff made the experience enjoyable and would definitely prompt a return visit. The availability of steamer options for children also made the visit convenient and accommodating.

The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, and the addition of chili oil provided a unique and flavorful touch. While it can be busy with college students at times, making finding seating a challenge, the overall experience and quality of the coffee makes it worth the visit.

I appreciate how the owner engaged with me regarding the café’s use of disposable plates, cups, and mugs. Their explanation about the difficulties in hiring dishwashers and the energy consumption involved in dishwashing provided me with a better understanding of their business model. Although I still wish they used real plates and mugs/cups inside the café, it’s clear that the owner genuinely cares about the cafe’s impact and is a good guy.
