I visited the Starbucks located on the southwest corner of Stapley & University Dr. in Mesa, AZ and I have to say, it was an overall positive experience. The boss, who I believe is named Dillis, went above and beyond to fix an issue I had, showing a great attitude towards customers. The staff were always full of smiles, and my mobile orders were consistently prepared quickly. The friendly and enjoyable staff, especially Kat, who remembered my name, made it feel like my local little coffee shop. I had a wonderful customer service experience where they took care of a mistake with my drink without any hassle.

However, there were some drawbacks to this location. The placement right at the intersection makes it difficult to enter and exit, and there is hardly any parking available. The drive-thru is the only convenient way to patronize the store, and the walk-up window lacks seating and covering. The small lot size often causes the drive-thru line to extend into the right lane of the street, impacting traffic flow. This lack of proper design and comfort detracts from the overall experience of enjoying coffee at the location.

Unfortunately, the service wasn’t consistent for everyone. One customer reported that a cashier was rude, lacked patience, and made mistakes with their order. They also described the restrooms as very dirty and felt that the cashier and barista both demonstrated a lack of good customer service. This customer did not recommend the Starbucks due to their negative experience.
