Blackbeard Espresso Reviews and Opinions

I visited Blackbeard Espresso in Louisville, and it was not my favorite coffee experience. The espresso roast was too dark for my liking, and the flat white didn’t meet my expectations. However, I appreciated the lovely ambiance and its convenient location within walking distance to many hotels.

On the other hand, I had a delightful experience at this cozy coffee shop. I ordered an eggnog latte that was absolutely perfect! The combination of roasted espresso with the delicious taste of eggnog made it my favorite winter flavor.

The staff at Blackbeard Espresso was friendly, and I enjoyed the cool atmosphere and decor. I tried the Cuban Café Con Leche, which while not entirely on point in terms of flavor, was still good and something I’d purchase again. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the place, with some dust and cobwebs, but it wouldn’t deter me from returning.

The small space might require solo seating or getting your order to go, but the food and drinks were satisfying. I savored a fresh egg & cheese bagel and a delightful Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, which was reasonably priced compared to other nearby coffee shops.

I also indulged in the Fall in a Cup 🍂, an autumn drink that did not disappoint, especially when served iced. The option of dairy-free and gluten-free snack bars added to the appeal, making it a comfortable and recommendable place for a relaxed break.
