I visited Quills Coffee, a delightful spot with a cozy atmosphere and ample seating options. The mezzanine level offers extra seating, and the large windows allow plenty of natural light to pour in. The old bank building vibe is complemented by the lighting and decor, creating a pleasant ambiance. However, the outdoor seating is limited due to its location in a busy intersection, which may not be ideal for lingering.

The house blend coffee at Quills Coffee was excellent, providing a smooth and satisfying flavor. However, the loud HVAC system and absence of background music due to the noise were notable drawbacks. This impacted my ability to have phone calls indoors, as I had to step outside for better reception.

Despite the noise issues, I found the staff to be amazing, making each visit a delightful experience. The espresso shots being pulled before preparing the milk raised some curiosity, possibly due to the machine setup. Additionally, the lack of available outlets, apart from those near the outside windows and upstairs tables, was a minor inconvenience.

While I truly enjoyed the ambiance and the historical significance of the building, I was disappointed by the garish exterior paint, which seemed incongruent with the unique character of the location. Despite this, the art deco ambiance and the presence of a cool vault door added to the appeal of the place.
