As a coffee lover, Kinship Cafe caught my attention while I was exploring KCMO/KCK. The cozy interior and welcoming barista created a great vibe that made me want to stay longer. Despite arriving late, I was able to savor a delicious Yam spice latte while my boyfriend enjoyed a smooth mocha latte. The pastries we bought were also delightful, with my blueberry bear claw and my boyfriend’s glazed donut hitting the spot.

The ambience was awesome, adorned with art and plants that added to the overall charm. The ample seating and the view outside made it a perfect spot for people-watching. I can definitely see myself coming back for more.

However, it was disheartening to hear about an unfortunate experience from a month ago. One of the baristas hushed a customer, which is not in line with good customer service. Additionally, a DoorDash order received less filling than expected, leaving the customer unsatisfied.

On a positive note, the early bird wrap and caramel latte ordered through DoorDash were a hit. The food arrived hot, and the wrap was delicious. The positive energy exuded by the place made the overall experience delightful. This coffee shop truly seems like a gem worth visiting in person.
