Visiting the Starbucks on a particularly nasty weather day was quite the relief. The interior provided a cool and dry escape from the hot and heavily raining outside. I was impressed by the young lady serving the coffees – despite it being almost closing time, she was kind and attentive, making our experience pleasant.

However, not all experiences were positive. There were three separate instances where the service fell short of expectations. It was disappointing to feel like an imposition when ordering drinks and snacks, especially when they weren’t particularly busy. The treatment my daughters received was unacceptable, as the woman yelled at them for a simple inquiry about their order.

Another negative experience occurred when I was physically knocked over by another customer and received no assistance from the staff. Additionally, the presence of other customers blocking the trash cans made it impossible to dispose of anything, resulting in an injury and lack of acknowledgment from the staff.

On a more positive note, when I visited with my pups, I encountered a friendly barista named Tim who was incredibly helpful and had a great attitude, making it a pleasant experience. However, it’s disheartening that the store policy seemed discriminatory, as witnessed in the treatment of homeless individuals, which I strongly disagree with.

Ultimately, the Starbucks experience was mixed. While the welcoming environment and quality of the hot coffees were appreciated, the negative encounters with the service and staff members were concerning.
